What’s New in Ruby on Rails 2.1?

David Heinemeier Hansson announced on his Twitter the release of Ruby on Rails 2.1 a week back. Having updated to the latest version, I wanted to know what are the new features in this release.
Apart from this excellent article on the official Rails blog, Carlos Brando has compiled a book discussing the new features in version 2.1. Grab the free download over at his blog! Kudos to the Brazilian Rails community for translating it into English.
