MySpace is dead. Share the same sentiment as me? Well, you should..

The underlying design is just terrible and for some reason, it encourages users to embed huge media players and images which bring any modern browser to its knees.

Friendster and Facebook are both decent alternatives but for some reason, it doesn’t receive the due respect. Honestly, Facebook is great. It has a ton of features and an open API. However, the layout is a tad clean and unattractive.
Another major flaw is the automated system which rejects my name during signup. I’ve tried to be accommodating but in the end, I needed to email tech support.

Finally, let’s talk about Virb. Web 2.0 goodness and the ability to customize CSS are just two features which will put MySpace out of business. Sure it might not have a large community but I’m a firm believer in “”good things being visible to a select few.”
