iPhone 1.1.3 Jailbreak & Sync Issues

Alas, my iPhone is running firmware 1.1.3! The baseband is still 04.02.13_G which belongs to the 1.1.2 update but that’s the only solution available.
The Sync issue was a major headache but it has been resolved. Check out this tutorial by iClarified to resolve it.
The new “Locate” feature in Google Maps isn’t working as it requires the new baseband. A temporary solution is to install Navizon.app (http://www.navizon.com/) but personally, I don’t really need the feature but I do admit it’s cool.
In general, I think the 1.1.3 jailbreak solution isn’t perfect but I’m not complaining. For some reason I have a feeling that the iPhone SDK is a major update and Apple will try to make it even more difficult to hack the iPhone software.
