Creating a favicon for your website can be annoying but I found a solution which is real neat. Favikon allows you to upload any image, make the necessary adjustments and it will create your favicon is a matter of minutes!
Genfavicon is a similar service which provide better instructions as compared to this.

There are plenty of sites out there which provides tips and tutorials on Adobe Photoshop or other applications. Most of them are really average and the good ones usually require some form of subscription.
