Apple Time Capsule

Another product Apple released during the keynote is Time Capsule. Time Capsule is a NAS (network-attached storage) unit that will wirelessly sync with multiple Macs running Leopard with Time Machine. It is also an 802.11n base station.

Priced at $299(SG$489) and $499(SG$788) for the 500GB and 1TB hard drive respectively. A little pricey but if you have more than 1 computers at home, this is a good buy!

Another interesting announcement/launch from MacWorld is Data Robotics new NAS front end for Drobo, DroboShare. It lets you easily conntect up to two Drobo to your network. Engadget gave it a pretty good review, especially for ease-of-use. Worth checking out and seems more interesting for those of us who already bought the new Airport before they added the drive =(
