Alternative to Google Chrome for Mac

Stainless is a multi-process browser for OS X inspired by Google Chrome. The current release of the Chrome browser is only available for Windows. Mac users can get a version called CrossOver Chromium which is ported by the folks at Codeweavers.

So for people like me who don’t have an Intel-based Mac, Stainless is probably the only option. It’s pretty quick on my iBook and websites load significantly faster than Firefox 3.

It won’t replace your primary browser but Stainless is a cool application.

Thanks for mentioning us–we appreciate it. Google will undoubtedly come out with a native Mac version at some point, but until then we think our Chromium port is a good alternative. And it *is* a cool browser.

No problem! Unfortunately I’m not using an Intel Mac so no Chromium for me..
